Bio
Sreeyanka was born on 14th Oct, 2006 in Kolkata, India. She lived in Almaty, Kazakhstan for the first 3 and half years and then moved to Dubai, UAE. She has been living in Dubai, UAE since 2010. She studies at THE WINCHESTER SCHOOL, Dubai and pursuing her Year 11 and loves studying Science and Mathematics. At a very tender age of 4, Sreeyanka had shown some interest in music. She was always humming the tunes and trying to pick up popular songs from the television. She was quite attracted towards music and singing from this young age. Her parents decided thereafter to nurture this god-gifted talent of hers.

To ensure that her interest is given the right direction, at the age of 4 and a half, she was put under the tutelage of Guru Shri Jogiraj Sikidar at Dubai, UAE.
After about a year of learning, she was then shifted to AJIVASAN (Music Institute of Shri Suresh Wadkar) at Dubai. Later on, around a year past, the Music School was taken over by AADI SHAKTI KALAKENDRA (A famous musical institute from India). Here, she got under the patronage of her Guru, Shri Amit Kumar Pandey.
Under the patronage of Guru Shri Amit Kumar Pandey, Sreeyanka has been trained in Hindustani Classical Music under the Patiala and Benaras Gharana. She is now pursuing her 5th Year of Hindustani Classical Music under the Prayag University of Allahabad, India at Aadi Shakti Sangeet Kala Kendra, Dubai.
She also learns Light and Hindustani Classical Music at Malhaar Centre For Performing Arts in Dubai since 2018, a school established by her first Guru, Shri JogirajSikidar. She is also trained by Guru Shri Manjeet Singh at the Malhaar Centre for Performing Arts, Dubai. To gain experience, she has also done online workshops on “Hindustani Classical Music” from the premier institution KM MUSIC CONSERVATORY (The Music Institute of Maestro AR RAHMAN), India under the tutelage of Guru Ms. Mira Sengupta for 6 months between 2020 and 2021.
Performances and Achievements
Sreeyanka has reached her 5th year of Hindustani Classical Music by scoring Distinction Grades in every single year in both Practical and Theory under the Prayag University, Allahabad, India.
She has won the Runner-Up prize of the nationwide singing contest conducted by SUNO 102.4 FM Channel in UAE. The competition was called “SUNO Junior Superstar”. She won the award in 2019.
Opened the Bengali Film Festival (Bongo ProbashiMilaap) at the Sheikh Rashid Hall Auditorium, with her performance at Dubai, UAE in 2019.
Won the 2nd Runner-up prize in the category of 5-15 yrs at the “MUSIC CIRCLE” contest conducted by AADI SHAKTI SANGEET KALAKENDRA in 2021.
Been a finalist of the reality show “VOICE OF UAE” held in Dubai in 2017.
Sung her first Bengali Playback song for a Bengali Short Film named “CHIKLI” in 2019. The short film is now on the OTT platforms of MX Player and HUNGAMA in India.
Given various performances at the MALHAAR BAITHAK, an Online Concert held at MALHAAR CENTRE FOR PERFORMING ARTS, Dubai.
Performed on the online platform of “SETHUVANDANAM”, a musical exchange program organized and hosted by THE FIFTH NOTE (Ustad Rashid Khan’s Music Institute in India) in 2020. Sreeyanka represented MALHAAR CENTRE FOR PREFORMING ARTS, Dubai
Performed with PSB (Park Street Band) of Dubai Twice in UAE.
Formed a FUSION Band by the name of “RHYMSICAL” in 2020 along with Rishit Mitra (Pianist) and have created fusion cover songs in Hindustani and Western Music. They have their YouTube Channel by the name of “RHYMSICAL”
Started her YouTube Channel by the name of “Sreeyanka Banerjee” in 2020 and has been releasing her Cover Songs.
Performed twice at the GLOBAL VILLAGE “TALENT STAGE” in Dubai, UAE
